It began with a wet patch...

...on our carpet in the hallway, what was it, how did it get there.  Was it the cat?  Was the roof leaking?  But no it was rather more complicated than that.  So Saturday morning The Boys investigated and on arriving home from the mall discovered my laundry and kitchen to look like this:
The laundry had taken up residence in the kitchen and back steps.
Tiles and gib had disappeared from the Laundry.  It seems our tub tap was constantly dripping and the pipes below the tub were leaking.  The water was running along the back of the laundry and ending up in the hallway!
On lifting the wet carpet to investigate we discovered lovely timber floors below so it was someones bright idea to lift all the carpet in the hallway!
So ensued the great task of lifting staples!
Matt had this down brilliantly - awesome practical skills!!
Now we have a lovely timber hallway!
The laundry is still out of commission...new tap and pipes fitted but still leaking!  Joy of joys...

Oh dear ... glad it's not us (again) with leaky syndrome!! Nice floors though :-) Impressive staple pulling Matt (terrible job that - remember doing it on the stairs at 815!)
Do hope you get the leak sorted!
