Gannet Colony
We visited the Gannet Colony last week at Muriwai. Last Christmas we visited the Gannets on Farewell Spit (we slightly distracted by the stranding of more than 100 whales) so to continue to tradition we saw Gannets again this Christmas holiday!
The are beautiful creatures, so elegant. Makes you wish you could fly!
