Waiheke Sculpture Walk

Last weekend Matt and I took the ferry to Waiheke to walk the Sculpture on the Gulf trail.  We did it 2 years ago and really enjoyed it and this time was the same!  It was scorching hot, we both got sun burnt but it was great.

Be warned...lots of photos ahead!

While we waited for our ferry we saw the giant rubber ducky in the Viaduct, advertising a new TV channel.  When I asked Matt to stand by it - this is what he does!
This sculpture was designed by a 11 or 11 year old boy - who loves lego and computer games!
These were quite amusing, plywood cutouts with naked bottoms!  Great idea for a family portrait...?!

 The ideal size coffee!
There were 2 gnomes, very cute, however they were priced at $20,000 each!!  Must have been real silver!
This sculpture and the next are my favourites - they are gorgeous.
The detail on this one was awesome - suited the spot perfectly.
