Delicious Dinner at Dallow's

Last Friday we dined out with Fred & Ju and had a gorgeous 7 course degustation menu - it went like this...

Tuna on avocado smear with fennel salad to begin - along with the most delicious sun dried tomato and olive oil focaccia...
 Then risotto of cauliflower with truffle oil and truffles from Queenstown

Followed by a confit of porks tail that I promptly ate and realised after I didn't get a photo!  

Next came duck with a coconut powder on a massamam curry sauce (which Matt loved!)
Then came quail with a egg nog sauce - cool bottle the sauce came in!
 Then the first of desserts came out...which was slightly odd - but inter sting in the same manner!  Goats cheese ice cream on a white chocolate soil with beetroot and mandarin freeze dried and fresh.
And one of the most intriguing - custard with candy floss bubbles!  They just melted in your mouth!

 Yum, yum and more yum.  Can't wait to go and try Meredith's now!

and you think mum and I cost you lots when we are there. I'll bring tea bags and flask so it won't cost as much to keep us

Nom Nom Nom. Typical Matt eating styles.. Looks divine, when you taking me out to dinner again..!
