So we spent some of the weekend trying to get the water to drain..
When engineer Fred came to visit he helped set up our hoses as siphoning systems.. And warning ahead - anyone would think the builders were on site with this crack!
And this one - got to this position and then got stuck!!

And then today I found we even have a part timber floor down! I resisted doing a little dance..
So the rest of the block basement down this week, filed Friday. Frames up for this timber part of the floor. Blocks dried and some sealed up to the level so far.
Our weather is gorgeous this week - long may it continue!!

Has the moat dried up at all after all our hard work? Awesome photo of Matt. Assume he changed his mind about not wanting that one up and was quite happy to show everyone his builders style.
