Began with breakfast...please note this was before 10am also!

The it was off to the building site - we had a little denailing to do. I have a mad plan to reuse our timber floor (the only remaining part of our old house) to make the joinery cabinets for our bathrooms.

We employed some help...thank Kate!

Note the gloves...office boy hands protected!

So we have denailed and stacked up over 140m of lovely Tawa flooring - now just to find a cabinet maker!
The the next mission was to look at lights. Electrician starts Wednesday so we wanted an idea of what we wanted... Ended up finding a sale and brought most of them! Excuse photos...not the best..
These are the bathroom lights for a little bit of fancy! Main bathroom and our ensuite.

The big dolly bulb and ironing cord pendant - for the pantry

Hand blown glass lights for the kitchen - over the island

Interesting little spots for the wall in the kitchen - one set above each window

And the coolest lights - for the living and dining! We were worried about lighting filling the space - but these take 2 bulbs and are a lovely light.

Another view - kind of like a donut!

They are a lovely simple style to go with our David Trubridge lights in the stair well.
So - how's that for an eclectic mix?! I can just see mum now shaking her head...!! :-)

Hmmmm define employed? Adj. 1. employed - having your services engaged for; or having a job especially one that pays wages or a salary; they may be an eclectic mix mix of lights but they do have one thing in common, they are all very roundy, you are more like your mum than you think. :)
Oh, also please explain the sentence "We were worried about PE can't lighting?!!..." Can't fathom that one at all :)
Hmm - edited for you my love!
