It's been a while

So here is what is new around the house since the last update:

Two burly men carried up our stove - and it's awesome!  Also seen here our bench top is in.
More glimpses of the bench

First sink tap installed in the scullery...
Clothesline in process of being constructed..
And yesterday our vanity 'boxes' arrived!  Made out of Tawa from our old floor - the last remaining part of the house!  So hopefully basins and taps to be plumbed in this week (we just sat this one here to see to overall picture).  Our tall cabinet to come also - will post more pics once all done - but thrilled with how they look.
New peach tree planted and blossoming - Golden Queen - lots of childhood memories peeling them...
And the apple tree is blossoming also
Front door handle installed - bit of a novelty using the front door instead of the garage door (and no I don't yet require 4.8m width to exit the house - thanks Kate for this suggestion...)
So now this is what's been happening around the house..Matt's getting comfortable
And proceeded to slice off the side of his little finger on the mandolin!
Getting the scullery sorted - some nice red highlights!  Think a red toaster is in order once this one dies..
Found some cool baskets - room for a few more of these too once I find what to store on the empty shelves!
Discovered the dining table gets morning and evening sun.
Kate & Fred installing the clothesline - note those gumboots, they're dirty!!
And the project manager - overseeing the work
Duck for dinner last night - tried a confit - worked quite well I must say
And Matt and Boss enjoying the sun on the 'deck'
So that's us mostly up to date for now!
