Christchurch

We flew from Nelson to Christchurch and had a fabulous 3 nights with Mark - albeit cold nights and days!  There seemed to be this constant battle of turning the heat pumps on and off...but we managed :-)
First up was a visit with Nana.  She didn't think she would get to meet James - her 11th Great Grandchild!

We got to meet Buddy - up close and personal!  He's pretty cute really - and those eyes - well you can't help but love him!

James tried out Uncle Mark's chaise, pretty good baby chair really - perfect for chilling out on

And also great for tummy time!

Matt got stuck into his study - with the help of a little one now and then

 Had a few sleep in's

And snuggly morning cuddles.  Note Buddy does love his kennel...

Buddy was intrigued by the little person - gave him his morning bath!

Saturday we ventured to Govenor's Bay for 'brunch'!

And then drove around to Lyttleton

Lyttleton was interesting, pretty destroyed by the earthquake

Few buildings being propped up, many more empty sections

Cute little farmers market at Lyttleton

Was great to check out Mark's house, dining room with spunky flowers / berry branch

Next a few photos of collections...
The watch and wallet collection

Suit collection (not all of them, more hanging elsewhere)

 Bag collection

 Shoe collection

 Shirt collection

 Oh wait, more shoes

 Perfume collection

And the collector (hoarder?!) himself!  Wonder if he'll start collecting dogs??

Mark brought a new vacuum cleaner, one that picks up dog hair. This is from a first vacuum of the lounge....gross.

And a final cute picture!

Thanks for having us stay Mark.  Hope you manage to pay your power bill this month...
