Flowers galore

This week has been a little unexpected, not exactly what I had planned!  On Sunday after the meeting I noticed pain in my back and sore stomach, which over the day got worse.  I ended up going to the Doctor who after 10mins sent me to hospital for suspected Appendicitis!  I hadn't wanted to go to the Dr because really what could they do, the pain wasn't anything you could see or fix...

So doped up on Tramadol I was admitted to hospital and there spent my first night.  Net morning awoke vomiting but little pain so the Doctors suspected other things.  An ultra sound later showed inflammation of the appendix so then I was put on the surgery list.  I was bumped from surgery that night but moved to a ward.  Next morning a trauma bumped me again but at 2pm I was finally called.  Kind of scary going into theater but coming out of general was worse!  Such horrible dry mouth and a total inability to stay awake is really frustrating!  Anyway had my half  hourly checks for 4 hours, then neighboring man came out of surgery who had them too and lastly at 11pm the last man in our room came out - so the night passed in half hours - never knew it could be so long!

Next morning Doctors told me I had an 'angry appendix' which they removed laproscopically, and now I was free to go home.  So by 10am I was home!  Am doing well with little pain killers now - but am totally enjoying all the flowers I got!!

And a stunning white set from my School again, the teachers in the Junior School.  This one came including the beautiful round vase!

I also got from school a gift basket of goodies and a orchid from the senior leadership team!  A little over the top maybe?!

So totally spoilt but do I mind...?!
