Nelson

Ok - it's overdue - but better record it! We had a gorgeous time in Nelson with family.  Proved it didn't matter which day you had Christmas on - you could still make it special!
So here goes - all randomly out of order - sorry about that!

Mark loves getting the Jailbar out...thinks hes all that and more...

And well dad as well doesn't mind posing with his truck
Feeding Isaac - quite amusing the facials that have to be made when you feed!
So now this is the first day when we arrived.  Dave picked us up and cooked us delicious fresh eggs for breakfast.  Then we were put to work....!!  Isaac had his first ride on the loader
 And enjoyed it really!
We helped Dave with his front lawn (just waiting on a photo update on how it's growing..hint hint!)
So we didn't have a Christmas tree and more rain was predicted so raided mums garden of roses - they were gorgeous!

Our Christmas day or 'Flowerday Christmas' was on Friday.  Began with mum and dad making breakfast / brunch..note the crocs on the Burano lace table cloth...!!
 Beautiful breakfast!
We sung some hymns and looks like Isaac was joining in!
 The grin:
And another - think she liked her perfume
 And he liked his book
And well - Santa himself!  (actually he is more akin to the Christmas Grinch...)
Opening more presents - more toys!
Some gorgeous sunnies from Mark - thanks!
 Oh and another present!
Hmm - I do like this new tool..
Oh - and Stacey becomes the ultimate farmer with her own crocs!

Matt's jersey stolen - think since the rest of the family now have new jerseys!
Oh la la!!  (your're as bad a Mark posing for these shocking photos!)
We next had lunch - it was delicious.  Especially those beans!!
 Someone finding the best veges...
Then Matt & I did afternoon tea - got out Mum & Kates fancy tea sets
 Made them play ladies!
Then it was out to Dave & Stacey's for tea to complete a day of feasting!  Delicious salads and Kebabs.
Dad on the farm - check out the grin!

On Sunday we attempted a family photo on self timer.  You really need the tripod - not a music stand!  So the only reasonable photo was the one with sunglasses!
We did a day trip to see Split Apple Rock.  I read about it in the Kiora Magazine on the way day and decided after having grown up in Nelson it was time to see it!
 It is rather unique
Who takes their iPad to the beach??

Then it was lunch at a cafe after - as it was a public holiday it was packed - Dad had a little rest while waiting
 Mums beautiful water lilly
And a brilliant coffee - love the Rocket!
And then it was into the garden - paid not to look really...
It was a lovely time in Nelson - not amazing weather but not sure anywhere had great weather!  Boss went to Nelson as well and ruled the roost!  Sorry Blue.
